The Spanish coach, fresh from winning the Qatar Futsal League with Al-Rayyan, has been appointed Head of Youth Development at Vietnam’s leading futsal club
Futsal coach Luis Fonseca has been appointed as the new Head of Youth Development at Thai Son Nam, one of Asia’s most prestigious futsal clubs, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Fonseca arrives in Vietnam after recently winning the Qatar Futsal League with Al-Rayyan, adding another major achievement to his extensive international coaching career. Throughout the years, he has worked in Malaysia, Qatar, Spain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai (UAE), and Romania, gaining valuable experience across different football cultures and high-performance environments.
In his new role, Fonseca will be responsible for overseeing and developing Thai Son Nam’s youth academy structure, implementing modern training methodologies aimed at enhancing the technical, tactical, and personal development of the club’s young players.
The appointment reflects Thai Son Nam’s strong commitment to youth development and its ambition to continue producing top-level talent while maintaining its position as one of the leading forces in Asian futsal.
