Jovan Lazarevic: «I have been following the Valdepenas club for a long time and every year they look better and better»
You arrive at Valdepeñas, a very special club. What does it mean for you?
It certainly means a lot to me! I have been following the Valdepenas club for a long time and every year they look better and better! A club that always plays to the end, I think this choice is the best for me in the current situation. Especially since the club agreed to sign even if I haven’t recovered enough from the injury.
Difficult season in Russia with everything have happened there. What do you learn from this year?
A beautiful year, but in the end just as sad. From everything I dreamed to complete disappointment. But it’s a sport! Tyumen is a great club on a par with the biggest clubs in the world of futsal. The only drawback, and in my opinion the most important, is the medical part. That’s why I left Tyumen. I must have learned a lot, the most important part for me is when you get injured, fix it now! Don’t do more damage to your body for anything.
First days in the club and we’ve lived one of the most iconic Copa de España is ever played. Which is your first impression about the Valdepeñas hooligans and the environment in Jaen?
Amazing stuff! I am thrilled, above all, with the organization itself! And the fans of Valdepeñas are amazing, great, I, who was a fan in those games, felt every emotion. I can’t wait to play and I will do my best to make them happy together with the team.
Nowadays, you’re recovering from an injury. Which are the goals of the club?
First of all, complete healing. I need time to get back in shape. I have been off the field for a very long time. Is not easy to. We are working on it, Valdepeñas, the whole team and I will make every effort to bring me to a level that will be satisfactory to start playing.
You’re going to play in the best futsal league in the world. How do you deal with it?
