The AFC Futsal Asian Cup, which will be played from April 17 to 28, brings together the 16 best teams of the continent
The 17th edition of the Asian Futsal Cup will kick off on April 17 in Bangkok. With 16 participating teams and four places for the 2024 World Cup at stake, the best futsal on the Asian continent will dominate the world scene for eleven days. With Iran and Japan as the main contenders, hosts Thailand and sensations Uzbekistan and Vietnam are all in contention for the throne.
With an unrelenting record, the Iranian team leads the ranking with a total of 12 trophies, while reigning champions Japan follow with four titles. With the 2022 edition having just been finalized, both teams will be aiming for the top step of the podium in Bangkok.
As always, our company will have a strong presence at the most important event of our sport in Asia. With a total of seven players (six in Japan and one in Iran) and four coaches (two in Kyrgyzstan and four in Vietnam), Proneo Sports continues to increase its link with the Asian territory. Diego Giustozzi and Lluís Bernat, debutants in the competition, are the leaders of the Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan teams, respectively.
